Day 2

Brunch on a brand new day in Seoul!

Took the metro down to Ewha Women's University for this Egg and Spoon Race cafe that the sista wanted to try.

The decor was really cute and detailed. In fact, all the cafes in Seoul are like that! Makes me just wanna cafe hop all day long in Seoul.

After brunch, we walked around the EDAE (short for Ewha Women's University) area where cute cafes and shopping was aplenty.

Shoe shops selling very affordable and good quality shoes made in Korea. Prices range from about SGD10-SGD30.

We grabbed a quick early dinner at a typical Korean food shop selling all sorts of Korean fare - soy noodles, ramyeon (ramen), dabokki (rice cakes), kimbap (sushi rolls) etc.

And then it was off to do our hair. The sista trimmed her hair and did 'Magic Volume', some "in" thing that a lot of the Korean girls are doing which is basically just to straighten your hair but curl the ends in. I just merely permed my hair. Each of us paid 80,000KRW (about SGD90), including treatment. I think it costs twice to thrice to do the same thing in Singapore.

After spending 4 hours and 160,000KRW in the hair salon, we went back hungry and had supper at this coffee joint, Caffe Bene, which actually reminds me of a Coffee Bean rip-off.
